Since 1920, the NFL has been one of America’s leading sports franchises. However, for nearly 125 years, it has failed to fully include women. Despite this, many wives and girlfriends of NFL players are changing the game, using their platforms to establish themselves in the sport. As businesswomen, advocates and influencers, these women have uniquely contributed to sports culture by creating their own sphere to thrive in. Each of these women has found a purpose by giving back to the sports community and forging a path for women to thrive in the NFL. Kylie Kelce, Kristin Juszczyk and Allison Kucharczyk have redefined what it means to be an NFL partner through their unique dedication and passion for football.
Kylie Kelce
Formerly Kylie McDevitt, Kylie Kelce is the wife of Jason Kelce, who retired from the Philadelphia Eagles in 2024. Kylie Kelce played field hockey at Cabrini University and now donates funds, arranges fundraising events and helps raise awareness for the Eagles Autism Foundation. The Kelces are key contributors and advocates for the foundation, which was created to bring autism awareness to action. In December 2024, Kylie Kelce started her podcast Not Gonna Lie, where she discusses modern parenting, social media and women in sports. Gaining even more popularity after her brother-in-law, Travis Kelce, started dating Taylor Swift, Kylie Kelce has redefined the sphere for NFL partners. She has created a name for herself in the Eagles fanbase and become a significant idol in sports culture for young girls to look to when thinking about being involved in the NFL. Kylie Kelce has created change and awareness of her own accord, advocating for autism awareness and having keen discussions about motherhood.
Kristin Juszczyk
Kristin Juszczyk, formerly Kristin Arceri, is the wife of Kyle Juszczyk, a fullback for the San Francisco 49ers. She earned her bachelor’s in Business Administration and gained popularity in 2023 after handcrafting a jacket for Swift. Kristin Juszcyk reworks clothing into custom NFL merch, and she has done so for many other prominent athletes and NFL partners. Kristin Juszczyk earned a licensing deal from the NFL and in early 2025 she launched a collaboration with the NFL, businesswoman Emma Grede and sports merchandise company Fanatics. The luxury sports brand is called Off Season, and its first launch on Jan. 7 included various types of outerwear which included five different NFL teams. Kristin Juszczyk combined her own talents and her husband’s publicity to build a business, redefining NFL merchandise and creating a path for NFL partners into sports culture through fashion design and fanwear.
Allison Kucharczyk
Allison Kucharczyk, wife of former defensive lineman for the Las Vegas Raiders, Isaac Rochell, has been documenting her journey through motherhood and marriage on TikTok. Even though Rochell was released from the Raiders in 2023, both Kucharczyk and Rochell have continued their work with the NFL, doing various partnership deals and enhancing their social media presence. Kucharczyk has used her platform to be more inclusive to women in football, giving them the “behind-the-scenes” of the sport and something to be interested in rather than the logistics of the game. Kucharczyk also uses her TikTok to have more serious discussions about mental health and motherhood. She also started her own podcast called Sunday Sports Club, where she shares her love for her sports with listeners. Kucharczyk has given a unique insight into the sport, discussing her husband’s career and providing a space for women to share their interest in sports.
Kylie Kelce, Kristin Juszczyk and Kucharczyk have displayed the ability of NFL partners to use their platforms to become significant parts of sports culture, whether that be through advocacy, fashion or social media. While women have been excluded from the NFL as athletes, women like these three, along with trainers, coaches and cheerleaders, are separating themselves from stereotypes and embracing their platforms to become prominent women in the NFL. The ability of these women to transcend barriers in professional sports is inspiring for girls with the same dreams and exemplary of the change in roles available for women in the NFL.
