To Infinity War and Beyond

Speechless.

That’s the best word we can use to describe the atmosphere in the theater after Avengers: Infinity War concluded. We were in total shock.

The storytelling of the film was remarkable. So many different concurrent storylines had everyone on the edge of their seats for all 149 minutes.

The incorporation of the classic Avengers like Iron Man, Hulk and Thor with new Avengers such as Black Panther, Spider-Man, Doctor Strange and the Guardians of the Galaxy was executed fabulously by directors Anthony and Joe Russo.

And should we really be surprised? Combining multiple superheroes from seperate clans usually only leads to success, and that’s exactly what happened.

And let’s not forget about the female characters in this film. They were absolutely incredible. Black Widow, played by Scarlett Johansson, Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Gamora (Zoe Saldana) stole the show. The film would not have been what it was without the wit and powers of these three amazing characters.

Thanos (Josh Brolin) jumped to a full-time role in this movie after multiple cameo appearances over the years. He was the perfect foil to the heroes we’ve grown to love since the Marvel Cinematic Universe began in 2008.

To comic book-crazed fans, the ending was anticipated, but casual watchers like us found that ending to be both confusing and amazing. It surely left all the other final battle scenes within the Marvel Universe in the dust.

Marvel is well-known for its post-credits scenes. And after that bizarre ending, another twist was added into the fold in the Marvel Universe. But you’re going to have to sit through the phenomenal movie and annoying credits to see for yourself.

Because this movie is a culmination of all the subplots that our heroes have embarked on over the past 10 years, the casual watcher might have difficulty understanding the narrative. But the raw excitement from beginning to end immerses viewers into Infinity War’s remarkable storyline.

Fortunately, we don’t have to wait long for part two, with the sequel set for release in May of next year. Until then, we can only anticipate what is next for Earth’s mightiest heroes.
