The 62nd Annual Grammy Awards will take place at 8:00 p.m. on Jan. 26. This is the night that the Recording Academy presents awards to recognize outstanding achievements in the musical industry. There are 84 total categories that award individual artists and groups ranging from Best Song of the Year to even the Best Metal Performance. Some artists that will be performing on stage are Lizzo, Billie Eilish, Aerosmith, Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton. We believe that the album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? by Billie Eilish will win the Album of the Year Award. Billie Eilish brought us a new style/genre of music that many people have enjoyed. For someone who is only 18 years old, her music and style is well known in the music industry.

We both agree that the song “Someone You Loved” by Lewis Capaldi will win the Song of the Year Award. This song is relatable and provides advice on how to cope with the loss of a loved one on a broad spectrum. “Someone You Loved” will always be an amazing song, and therefore deserves the award.

We agree that Billie Eilish will win the Best New Artist Award for 2020. Billie Eilish has become popular from her unique style of songs. Other artists such as Lizzo and Maggie Rogers are also great artists, however Billie Eilish has become so much more popular and known for her unique music genre. Eilish also won the New Artist of the Year award at the American Music Awards this past November, which makes us believe that she will win this award as well.

A lot of people were fans of the Jonas Brothers when they were younger, so their comeback had fans shocked. After the Jonas brothers’ comeback, everybody has been obsessed with “Sucker.”
