Whether you’re buying one in the cafeteria, or talking to them in a classroom, subs are a critical part of our school. Coming soon, the cafeteria will be offering a new menu of subs named after some of WHS’ most popular substitute teachers.
April Fool’s Issue
“The Mr. Browne” – This sub always sports fancy suits with a special handkerchief to match. This delicious and upscale sub is made with caviar and a hint of gold leaf, all served on a pumpernickel roll.
“The Ms. Fine” – This sub is typically found filling in for all the different world language classes. It’s no surprise that this “fine” sandwich would be an Italian sub topped with Swiss cheese, jalapeños and teriyaki sauce, all on a French baguette.
“The Brownings” – These married subs are always found in separate classrooms, but everybody knows that they’re the perfect mixture together. This double-decker sandwich is made up of two layers of cheese, two layers of meat and four slices of bread. A two-in-one special!
