The boys tennis team has concluded its season with a trip to the sectional finals where they lost to Millburn, the number-one team in the state.Said junior Tri-Captain Jack Siegel: “Our season was very successful, surpassing many people’s expectations of our team. We won the county tournament for the tenth straight year.”
Overall, the team had a record of 20–5 for the season, according to nj.com.
According to Head Coach George Kapner, the victory in the county tournament stood out, in addition to winning the Westfield Invitational.
Said Kapner: “With six of the seven starters returning for the 2015 season, and some very talented JV players in the program, we are very excited about the future.”
