Sophia Braun, R5 Editor-in-Chief
Sophia Braun is the R5 Editor in Chief of Hi’s Eye. She is passionate about social justice, music, and writing and she is excited to combine these interests in her work on this year’s publication. Outside of Room 111, Sophia is a Woodwind Section leader in the Westfield High school Marching Blue Devils, a Student Leader for the No Place for Hate (NPFH) Program-Religion and Allyship Sub Committee, and a member of the Westfield High school Jazz Band and Wind Ensemble as a Tenor Saxophonist. Additionally, Sophia is the founder and teacher of WE2: Write, Educate, Empower which is a multi-faceted journalism program aimed at supporting young journalists in using their voices.
