Laura Channell, R1 Feature Editor
Laura Channell is thrilled to be the R1 Features Editor for His Eye newspaper and R1 Back of Magazine Editor for the brand new magazine Optic. Laura has cherished writing and journalism from a young age and is excited to fulfill these roles as well as spread her passion in both publications. Beyond the walls of room 111, she loves to spend time with friends, listen to music, play guitar, and travel. Laura also loves volunteering and working alongside people with special needs. She’s nothing but exhilarated to work in both the magazine and newspaper in the upcoming year with the ‘20-‘21 staff.
