Anna Qiang, R2 Well Editor, R3 Back of Mag Editor
As the R2 Well Editor and R3 Back-of-Magazine Editor, Anna Qiang is extremely excited to help launch the new 2020-2021 Optic Magazine. Anna is an advocate for community service. She is the president of the Westfield High School Strive for Success Scholarship Organization, which aims to raise money in order to bring scholarships to impoverished students with strong core values in international communities. In addition to her passion for leadership, Anna participates in Model United Nations and is an active supporter of civic engagement among youth. She is motivated to combine her love of writing and community involvement to create an unforgettable legacy for the magazine with the rest of the staff. If she’s not brainstorming new article ideas, writing, or reading the news, you can find her rowing on the Passaic River, painting, or watching TED Talks.
