Hi's Eye

“Being a member of Hi’s Eye was easily the best thing that happened to me at WHS. I developed a love of journalism and hope to continue writing in college. Whenever I walked into Room 111, I knew that I was welcomed and had people who genuinely cared about me and others within the class. Moreover, we felt like a family—sure, it was complex, and we didn't always come to the same conclusion, but we all worked together.” - Colin Sumner

Colin Sumner , Business Manager

Colin is electrified to be a writer for the Hi’s Eye and serve as one of the three business managers. He’s excited to keep the tradition that the Hi’s Eye has of producing great work while innovating their business portfolio. Colin has always had an interest in politics, outside of room 111, and he channels that passion by working with different non-profit and civil action groups across the state.
